"My wife said you may want to marry me..."
WHEN Amy Krouse Rosenthal was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she and her husband had many emotional conversations about the difficult days ahead.
But there was one thing Amy was sure of – that she wanted him to find love again after she died.
She wrote about her dying wish in an article that appeared in the New York Times, and went on to be read by millions of people all over the world.
In the piece, called ‘You may want to marry my husband’, she described all the things she loved about Jason, including his flair for fabulous socks, his kindness and his passion for cooking.
Three years after her death, I interviewed Jason to find out what happened next.
